Call us and provide us with the insurance information. We can do online billing for all insurances that support online billing.

If you are covered under the Ontario Drug Benefits ( for seniors, ODSP, OW .. etc) we waive $2 co-payment

If your insurance does not support online billing, you have to pay and submit the official receipt to your insurance.

I heard that you are a Coughlin preferred pharmacy, what does that mean ?

This means that, if you have a Coughlin insurance, once you satisfy your yearly deductible which starts in January, you will not pay a single penny after your Coughlin insurance for all your covered medications.

I have my own drug plan, and my spouse has their own plan, does it make any difference ?

For sure. if you provide us with both insurance information, whatever left after your insurance is submitted to the other insurance. This typically will let your prescription free of charge (very limited exceptions apply)

I am a senior and I have a private insurance, should I provide you with my private plan ?

Yes, almost all private insurances pick up the deductible and co-payment after the Ontario government.
Also some medications are not covered by the senior's plan could be submitted to the private insurance.

What is the benefit of doing my medication in a medication organizer (Dossette) ?

Our Dossets comes as a calendar pack, this means that each specific dose has its own compartment.

So, you do not miss a dose or double up on medications. Simply follow the dates on the pack.

And if it happens that you ask yourself the popular question: Did I take my medications this morning? or not ? simply check the morning compartment of that day on the blister, if it is empty, you took your medications; if it still contains medications, you did not take them.

It is also easy to rip, so that if you are going away, you can take the doses needed while you are away and leave the rest at home.

I do take some OTC medications, can I add them to my medication organizer (Dossette ) ?

Yes, for sure. Just let us know what do you take and when and we will take care for that. We will only charge you for the price of the items with no extra cost.

I would like to get vaccinated, should I have a prescription ?

No. Our Pharmacists can authorize vaccinations.
However, if you have any insurance, you have to get a prescription to get it covered.
You are welcome to come here and use our telemedicine service to get a prescription for the vaccine.

I would like to do a special order, what should I do and when can I get it ?

You can simply contact us through the website or give us a call to confirm the exact product and the charges and once confirmed, we receive it typically the next business day. (excluding Saturdays for OTC items)

I would like to speak with a Doctor, what should I do ?

You have to come to the pharmacy right beside the clinic with your health card. After doing the initial registration, and once the Doctor is ready to see you, we will set you up in a room to speak to them.

Once the appointment is done, we can fill your prescription, if any, in just five minutes.

What do you mean by Telemedicine ?

Telemedicine is a video call with an Ontario-licensed physician. It is like a regular Doctor's appointment, but the only difference is that they are not physically beside you. Doctors can renew your medication, prescribe you any medication if needed and can take care of your concerns.
They can't do physical examination, injections or any controlled medications.

I need to renew my regular medications at the clinic, but I fill my medications at another pharmacy; can I still use your Telemedicine clinic?

Yes, you can. However, we will need to transfer your medication file to Wellington Drug Store to have a medication list to submit to the physician for requesting the renewals. And going forward, filling your medications regularly at Wellington Drug Store will maintain your medication history record which facilitates your future renewals on your next visits to the clinic.

How does the addiction treatment work ?

We deliver the service for a clinic specialized in addiction treatment. All you have to do is to come in with your health card and will walk you through the process. The process includes some paperwork (for the initial visit), speaking to the Doctor and getting your supporting medications and/or Methadone Maintenance therapy.
